Sables Bowling Association is one of the smallest districts in South Africa with only 10 clubs and just under 1000 members. Situated on the West Rand (Roodepoort) in Gauteng. Sables also includes one club from Northwest Province, namely Rustenburg Bowling Club.
Sables offers many bowlers, new, disabled and youth the opportunity to learn or improve their bowling skills, by our qualified coaches.
Our Technical Officials officiated at many tournaments i.e. BSA master’s Singles, BSA Nationals & Perfect Delivery Gauteng Open, just to name a few.
Lastly, but the most importantly, are our members who keep our district going.
Sables has proved that we are a small district with a big heart by our many achievements on International and National levels.
